Junior_job Thanks for the report Pierre. We probably won't provide a new version of Kicad for Mageia 3, unless the backports are opened. I'm looking at packaging the latest stable snapshot in Cauldron. CC:

remi I updated Kicad in Cauldron and could build and run it successfully. @Michael and/or Stormi: Can one of you review the changes and submit the package? (Basically I just ran update.sh to produce the tarballs, and I added some rpmlint consistency to the specfile).

Your changes seem not to have been committed to the SVN repository for the kicad package in cauldron. Indeed, it seems I forgot to commit. It's now done. I split the changes in two commits, one cosmetic and one for the version update. Built in Cauldron: http://pkgsubmit.mageia.org/uploads/done/cauldron/core/release/20130927121347.stormi.valstar.21453/ Status:
