Description Dick Gevers 2013-08-03 14:25:30 CEST
In the last few weeks I had to reinstall Cauldron, because my hard disk had crashed.

No matter what I try since, no gnumeric spreadsheet looks okay. Imediately after starting a document (new or existing) the top lines are greyed out and can hardly be worked with anymore.

Is this stg. to be reported upstream (if others see it) or am I simply missing a library not pulled in by urpmi ???

I will attach a screenshot which shows what I mean.

Still remains with latest gnumeric.

Also seen on another Cauldron machine !

Moreover, this seems related:

when I do "Edit --> Preferences", and move the Preferences gui, I see that it leaves everything behind the gui as greyed out, which should not occur.

Plus, under preferences there are several clickable boxes where numbers can be increased or decreased, which would normally shows a [ plus ] or a [ minus ] sign, I'm guessing, but they now show nothing at all, just a grey square.

For example, under 'Files' the first option is to change Default Compression Level For Gnumeric Files, which shows a number plus 2 squares next to it, pressing these increases or decreases the number, but the square does not display anything. My guess is that it should.

No longer are the top lines greyed out, but the first ten visible rows do not show the slection of any fields: only fields that are selected below the tenth visible row, show which fields are selected, not above.

So there is a certain improvement, but it is not fixed.
