Please test new openttd [1] from core/updates_testing, it's a bug fix release [2].

MGA3-32-OK for me

in VirtualBox

default install openttd-1.3.1-1.mga3.i586 from core release
[root@localhost wilcal]# urpmi openttd
Package openttd-1.3.1-1.mga3.i586 is already installed

Opened openttd, created a single player game and saved that.
Closed openttd, reopened openttd, succesfully reopened previously
saved game. Opened and viewed from the WEB a multiplayer game.
I don't want to disturb someone elses game(s) but it seems fine.
One could get lost in this. FWIW it sets up TiMidity++ in PulseAudio.

install openttd-1.3.2-1.mga3.i586 from core updates_testing
Rerun testing with the same above tests. All successful
[root@localhost wilcal]# urpmi openttd
Package openttd-1.3.2-1.mga3.i586 is already installed

Test platform:
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
