Description of problem:

After upgrading from MGA2 to MGA3 svk up is broken and doesn't update local repository

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. mirror an svn repo
2. perform a svk pull (which works) to get latest update (even if it prints error messages)
3. perform a svk up which doesn't update the repo:
[bruno@localhost pb]$ svk sync //prj/pb

If you relaunch the same operations, the local SVK repo is exactly in the same state, and not usable.

Probably linked to the update of perl and the error messages printed may give ideas where issues are, but I have not been able to fix it despite some tries.

We could benefit from cross distribution work with Fedora at least (Debian and Ubuntu seem to have droped it). Cf: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=977592

Having a SW which is not actively maintained shouldn't prevent a distribution to try to maintain it working for its own users, in the latest upstream state.

So If someone with knowledge of latest perl 5.16 diffs with what used to work with 5.14, that would porbably help shorten solvinf the issue. TIA.

Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago.
