Triaged, UPSTREAM I failed to reproduce that. Can you try libreoffice-4.0.4.2 from Core/Updates Testing ? Keywords:

NEEDINFO We only encountered the intermittent crashing while editing large (50+ pages, with images and embedded charts) documents, after an hour or two of editing. At the suggestion of doktor5000 (here: https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5655), I tried the RPM packages downloaded straight from LibreOffice.org (4.0.4), and replacing the mga3 packages with those. They worked, mostly. There's no more crashing and loss of work, but every so often the display is badly corrupted and requires restarting the app. This is still a big improvement, though, because we can at least save the work, and it doesn't happen nearly as often. When my colleague is back from traveling, I'll try out the 4.0.4 packages from updates-testing. thanks for looking into this! In the meantime I'm rebuilding the 4.0.4 package w/o that option. Please comment on bug #10848 in order to validate the update. Mga3 is no more supported. If you reproduce this bug on Mga4, please reopen. Status:
