Synaptiks, installed from the repository on Mageia3 x86_64 fails to start:

$ synaptiks
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/synaptiks", line 5, in <module>
    from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ImportError: No module named pkg_resources
Comment 1 Dave Hodgins 2013-07-04 23:45:03 CEST
Can you try installing python-pkg-resources, and see if that fixes it?

Might be just a missing requires.
