This application is very useful for write Japanese kanji with mouse. 
With Mageia 2 I used  used ibus-handwrite-2.1.4-2-mdv2011.0.i586.rpm with libibus2-1.3.9-6-mdv2011.0.i586.rpm downloaded by mandriva 2011 repssotry. But now with Mageia 3 it is impossible to use.

Well, i don't know if the piece of software is still maintained. The latest commit of ibus-handwrite happened ten months before....

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.
