The directory "dosdevices" is empty. It works perfect on my desktop, but not on my laptop, Do you have the wine32 package installed? It's needed to run 32 bit Windows programs. Yes. I deleted the current .wine directory and started wine again. Now, the directory "dosdevices" is populated and the windows application starts without problem. I'd guess that somehow the ownership of .wine got changed. All of the errors you reported had to do with not being able to create directories. CC:
