fundawang, mageia, olav OK, I was able to fix it by installing task-gnome-minimal (which was not previously installed and installed several dependencies). I wonder if this should be handled more gracefully. Regards, -- Shlomi Fish |
Description of problem: GNOME won't start on x86-64 Cauldron + updates_testing. Tried using: 1. startx. 2. In a new user. 3. From prefdm ("systemctl start prefdm.service") All other DEs (KDE, LXDE, IceWM) start fine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Cauldron/updates_testing. My machine is a Core i3 x86-64 machine with Intel Graphics. How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start GNOME. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
