Yes, I downloaded the rpm and installed it. I chose to remove unnecessary packages for my hardware during installation, but I actually used that package since I was connected.

mageia, thierry.vignaud, tmb Valid 4beta1 (live dvd gnome 32) Saw it remove rtlwifi-firmware with unused packages, and lots of other firmware. After reboot wifi only offers ndiswrapper so is unable to connect and add medias. Priority:
