I have all my MP3 tagged with EasyTag, ID3 is version 2.3, and RB displays
correcly all tags but the year one. It appears as 'Unknown'.
Its not a problem of a few files, but all.

I have checked with other players (deadbeef, pragha, audacious, banshee) and
all show the Year tag ok.

I have googled for it, but just found a report in Unbutu without any solution.

Any ideas ? Someones else sees this ?

Reported upstream, it was a real bug and is now corrected in git:

Don't know if there will be a new release soon or you must pick latest git...

Please test rhythmbox-3.0.1 from cauldron.

Almost two years later, no reply

Assuming this got fixed when the upstream fix landed in Mageia
