Description Matthew Cline 2013-05-30 06:27:38 CEST
I installed Mageia 3 off of the 700MB dualarch CD iso file. Since this had only a minimal list of packages, I used urpmi to install evolution. However, evolution 3.6.3 won't ask you for your pop/imap password if the gnome-keyring package is missing, causing it to freeze where it should be asking for the password. To fix this, gnome-keyring should be a dependency for evolution.

seems still valid, neither evolution nor evolution-data-server require gnome-keyring. And it seems the BuildRequires: pkgconfig(gnome-keyring-1) in e-d-s are not sufficient to add this as a dependency for the binary packages.
