Description of problem:
In a continuously updated original Alpha 1 system there is now a "Join the Mageia Community" desktop icon.
This is missing from a clean KDE install from Beta 2 full DVD. 
Only "Home" and "Trash" icons are installed.

I think this part at the bottom of kde-firstsetup.sh isn't needed:
if [ -f "${DIR}/register.desktop" ]; then
rm -f "${DIR}/register.desktop"
	fi

the new .desktop files are already copied in line 64.

Fixed with  mageia-kde4-config-1-4.mga1.src.rpm
