Description of problem:
The alx driver loads but doesn't allow to establish any network connection. dmesg is full of alx registers dumps that are generated on every access to eth0 device.

I've tried to build and use several standalone alx driver versions and had succeeded with the version from this set: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/backports/2013/03/28/compat-drivers-2013-03-28-5-u.tar.xz
