Sound recorder stops working due to error ¨gnome-volume-control is not installed in the path¨ IN KDE and Gnome. No recording can be done. I am Mandrek user from the begining. Before installing Mageia 2 i586 32 bit, I was having Mandriva 2010.2. But due to overvoltage Hard Disk becomes unusable. So I shifted to Mageia 2. I am also using Fedor 14 & not updating to Latest Fedora due to unconfatality with Gnome 3. In Fedora 14, I do not Sound Recording problem.

Issue resolved and Sound Recorder is working perfectly. Sound Recorder is failed due to PulseAudio stuff, Once it is disabled and unmutted all audio channels. After installation of Mageia package libgnome-media-profile, Sond recorder started with a bang. Issue solved permantly.
