Bug 10081

This difficult to explain and not much info in logs.

Booted into live mode on pre 3 final kde livecd first build

Trying various applications, noticed there is no kopete yet there is the icon in the notification area for 'Instant messaging presence'. Right clicking the icon shows the normal right click menu but none of the options there are actually available.

Clicked Contact list, Account settings, then another one to do with accounts and the screen went black with only net-applet in the top right corner and kde crash handler drkonqi tried to debug (but is missing the debugger). The DE restarts then without the 'Instant messaging presence' icon and all is well.

Nothing is shown in the journal about the crash but .xsession-errors shows plasma-desktop crashing.

I'll attach it but there are a few errors I'll pull out which might be related..

Rebooted again to get a clean environment and installed from the livecd and the IM icon is not present in the installed system.
