tmb how do you close the windows ? I can't reproduce in my vm (with c oups with crtl+f4 or the X of the windows. I only tried X in the upper right hand corner. Difference is it was running on real hardware. But reproducible in the sense that it was there 1) during Live mode and 2) after finishing install and reboot. And I do not see the same with 64 bits Live DVD Gnome Valid for 18th May LiveCD Gnome i586 on real hw If I use the same prerelease iso with kernel option xdriver=vesa, all the stuff in the GNOME panel at the top wont work. So there's nothing I can start which might kick me out of live, but there is no power off and no terminal desktop icon either. CC:
