classic DVD upgrade M2 to M3RC x86_64.
On reboot, xfce sessions are left with the previous net connection icon still there but inaccessible; the 2-overlapping-screens icon has a red X and says no network connection. This is untrue; the 'real' blue-globe connection icon with a green tick right next to it is valid. Right click of the dud icon does not bring up a menu - not sure how to remove it.

This is cosmetic only, but annoying; my eye keeps being drawn to it - why has my net connection dropped out? - but it hasn't.

A problem re follow-up of this from my end - I'm going overseas in a couple of days so very little time to work on it. Might do something in the next day or so.

Ideas?

what are you referring about ? the drakx-net ? networkmanager ? something else ?
maybe you can make a screenshot

Component: Installer => RPM Packages

I'm ashamed to say that this was not a bug at all. The icon I was referring too was just the correct report of an unconnected port.

Duh - too tired with international travel and installing on the 5th partition on my laptop...

Sorry to increment the bug numbers!
