Description Morgan Leijström 2013-05-06 19:02:12 CEST
Description of problem: During install the alt-Fx (X=1,2,...12) keys do not work on my USB keyboard. This is true for network install stage 1 and later.
Other keys work OK, and keyboard alt-Fx works on mga2.
(It works using a PS/2 connected keyboard)

Such keys are for cheking what is happening, to fix problems and help tracing bugs, so i set it as major.

Tell me what info you need.
(I can re-run stage 1 and reach the Alt-Fx functions using the PS/2 keyboard)

Sorry for posting before i had more detail.
That keyboard was working perfectly on mga1 before i installed mga3.
Now i find it do not work in installed mga3 either, and same on mga2!
So it is keyboard specific. And not specific to mga3 nor installer.
Keyboard is Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 v1.0

Two other USB keyboard, from Fujitsu and Logitech, works nicely.

Oh... On that keyboard I found a "F" disable/enable button.... Embarrassing!
I have no idea what good that button is intended to do...

Yeah, some Logitech keyboards have that too, and there is no keycode to toggle it. Stupid.
